Differences between Eastern and Western culture: Yang Liu

Found these great images depicting the differences in Western and Asian culture over on Mountainrunner. They are all the copyright of Yang Liu, a Chinese raised in Germany, and appear in her book “Ost trifft West” (East meets West).  Her biography is at the end of this post.  These images depict differences & commonality between groups in their approaches, perspectives, and moments in history.

How to Express Anger
The former image shows that in the West, when they’re angry, it shows. You can tell when someone is angry just by looking at them. In East, someone may be smiling at you and remain being polite, but actually may be fuming on the inside.
