A campaign designed to drop sales
Like human traffickers, we targeted our most vulnerable people: children at school or just walking the streets of townships and impoverished urban slums, and just like the criminals, our most powerful weapon was deception. On the street of their own neighborhoods, we made men, women and children disappear. We created tunnels with false walls that precisely matched the real walls behind them, so that when people walked through, they disappeared- leaving onlookers wondering what had happened to them. Once people were informed of our anti-human trafficking message and given a toll-free number, they could pass the information on.

Green Pedestrian Crossing
The China Environmental Protection Foundation wanted to encourage people to walk more and drive less. We decided to use a busy pedestrian crossing where both pedestrians and drivers meet. We covered the crossing with a giant canvas of a large leafless tree. Placed on either side of the road were sponges, cushions soaked in green, environmentally friendly paint. As people walked across and stepped onto the sponges, they created green footprints. Each green footprint added to the canvas like leaves growing on a bare tree, conveying the message that walking helps create a greener environment.

Peepholes
With little money, we wanted to maximise our front windows and floor space to create an intriguing experience that goes to the heart of what makes biographies great: what really goes on inside celebrities’ minds? We chose four celebrities represented in the biography section and worked with three local artists to bring to life some interpretations of their inner worlds. Customers were drawn to peepholes that appear on the foreheads were drawn to peepholes that appear on the foreheads of our famous four, through which vivid worlds were revealed. The peep boxes were set on wheels so they could form a travelling installation between stores.
